Reviews and ratings

Readers can leave one review per book, with a 1–5 star rating and an optional title and body.

Writing a review

From any public book page, scroll to the Reviews section and click Write a Review. You must be logged in and must not already have a review for that book.

Rating scale

| Stars | What it means |
|-------|---------------|
| 5 | Exceptional — would strongly recommend |
| 4 | Very good — worth reading |
| 3 | Decent — some reservations |
| 2 | Didn't work for me |
| 1 | Strongly negative |

Editing or deleting your review

Click Edit on your existing review to modify it, or Delete to remove it. You can then submit a fresh review.

Where reviews appear

• On the book's public page, sorted by most recent
• On the reviewing reader's public profile
• In search results as an aggregate star rating + review count

A note for authors

You can read all reviews of your books from the book's dashboard page. Reviews cannot be hidden or deleted by the author — only the reviewer can remove their own review.
