Subscription tiers and upgrading

The Stream Facility offers three tiers: Free, Indie, and Pro. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time.

What each tier includes

Free
- Read published books and participate in beta campaigns
- Basic Studio access (one draft)
- Basic Codex access

Indie
- Unlimited Studio drafts
- Full Codex with all 19 entity types
- World maps and timeline
- Beta campaigns (up to 2 active at once)
- AI write assist (bring your own API key)
- Desktop app access

Pro
- Everything in Indie
- Unlimited concurrent beta campaigns
- Extended version snapshot history
- Priority sync on the desktop app
- Author mailing list tools

Upgrading

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Subscription and click Upgrade. You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. After payment, your tier is updated immediately.

Annual vs. monthly billing

Both Indie and Pro are available monthly or annually. The annual plan saves approximately 20% compared to 12 months of monthly billing.

What happens if you downgrade

Your data is never deleted when you downgrade. If you exceed the Free tier limits, you move to read-only on affected features until you upgrade again or reduce usage within the limits.
