Reporting Content

If you come across content that concerns you while reading a manuscript on The Stream,
you can report it directly from the reading view.

How to report a scene

While reading an expanded scene, look for the ⚑ Report button in the bottom-left
corner of the scene — to the left of the Comments and Mark Read buttons. Tap it to open
the report form.

The form will already know which scene you are reporting. Add a reason and any details
that would help us understand your concern, then submit.

What happens after you report

Your report is reviewed by the Stream Facility team. Once a decision is made, you will
receive a notification letting you know the outcome.

We review all reports but cannot share details about actions taken on another user's account.

When to use the report button

The report button is for content that may violate the Content Policy,
such as:

• Content that infringes on someone's copyright
• Harassment or harmful material directed at a real person
• Illegal content
• Content that is inappropriate for the audience the book is marked for
