Affiliate Program Terms
Effective Date: 9.3.2026
These Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the Stream Facility Affiliate Program ("Program"). By submitting an application and, upon approval, participating in the Program, you agree to these Affiliate Terms in addition to the Stream Facility Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Program Overview
The Stream Facility Affiliate Program allows approved participants ("Affiliates") to earn commission by referring new subscribers to the Platform using a unique referral link. Commissions are earned on qualifying subscription revenue generated by referred users.
2. Eligibility and Application
2.1 To apply, you must hold an active Stream Facility account. There is no requirement to be a paid subscriber.
2.2 Applications are reviewed at our sole discretion. We may approve or decline any application without stating a reason. Approval of an application is not a guarantee of continued participation.
2.3 By applying, you represent and warrant that all information provided in your application — including your legal name, tax identification number, and address — is accurate and complete. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination and forfeiture of any unpaid commissions.
3. Referral Links
3.1 Upon approval, you will be assigned a unique referral code accessible from your dashboard. Your referral link takes the form: https://streamfacility.com/?ref=YOUR_CODE.
3.2 You must use this referral link for all promotional activity. Commissions are only tracked through this link; we cannot credit referrals made without it.
3.3 You may not modify the referral link in any way that would misrepresent its destination or disguise it as something other than an affiliate referral link.
4. Commission Structure
4.1 Commission rate: You earn commission equal to the then-current rate (displayed in your affiliate dashboard) on qualifying subscription revenue generated by users you refer. The current rate is set by Stream Facility and may be adjusted with 30 days' notice.
4.2 Attribution window: A referral is attributed to you for the period specified in your dashboard (the "commission window") from the date the referred user creates their account. Subscription payments made by that user within the commission window generate commissions for you.
4.3 Qualifying events: Commissions are generated on subscription invoice payments (monthly or annual renewals) made by referred users during the commission window. One-time purchases, gift certificates, and desktop license fees are not currently commissionable.
4.4 No self-referral: You may not refer yourself or create secondary accounts to generate commissions on your own subscription.
4.5 Commission calculation: Commission = (gross subscription amount paid by referred user) × (commission rate). Commissions are calculated on the amount actually received after any Stripe processing, refunds, or chargebacks.
5. Payout
5.1 Minimum threshold: Commissions are payable only when your pending balance reaches or exceeds the minimum payout threshold displayed in your affiliate dashboard.
5.2 Payout method: Payouts are made to the bank account connected via Stripe Connect, which must be set up in your Dashboard → Billing → Payout account section. Stream Facility does not issue payments by cheque, PayPal, or cryptocurrency.
5.3 Requesting a payout: 5.3 Automatic payouts: When your pending balance meets the minimum threshold, your payout is processed automatically on the 1st of each calendar month. Funds are transferred to your connected Stripe account. You must have a verified Stripe Connect account set up in your billing settings to receive payouts. If you have questions about a specific payout, contact us at https://streamfacility.com/contact.
5.4 Currency: All commissions are calculated and paid in US Dollars (USD).
5.5 Forfeiture: Unpaid commissions may be forfeited if your affiliate account is terminated for cause (see Section 8).
6. Reversals and Adjustments
6.1 Commissions may be reversed or adjusted if the underlying subscription payment is refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed by the subscriber or their payment provider.
6.2 We reserve the right to withhold or claw back commissions where we determine, in our sole judgment, that they resulted from fraudulent activity, self-referral, or violation of these Affiliate Terms.
6.3 Commission events will be marked as voided in your dashboard if reversed. We will notify you of material reversals.
7. Tax Obligations
7.1 You are solely responsible for reporting and paying all taxes on commission income in your jurisdiction. Stream Facility's payment of commissions to you does not include any withholding for income taxes unless required by law.
7.2 IRS Form 1099-NEC (US affiliates): If you are a US person (as defined by the IRS) and earn $600 or more in commission in a calendar year, Stream Facility is required by US law to issue you a Form 1099-NEC. We will use the legal name, address, and tax identification number (SSN or EIN) you provided in your application to prepare this form. You must ensure this information is accurate; inaccurate tax information may result in backup withholding as required by the IRS.
7.3 Non-US affiliates: If you are not a US person, we may request a completed IRS Form W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E before processing payouts, and may apply withholding as required by applicable US tax treaties or law.
7.4 You agree to provide updated tax information promptly if any details change.
8. Affiliate Conduct and Prohibited Practices
8.1 You agree to promote Stream Facility honestly and accurately. You may not make false or misleading claims about the Platform, its features, its pricing, or its performance.
8.2 You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting Stream Facility, in compliance with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), the UK ASA/CAP Code, and equivalent regulations in your jurisdiction. A disclosure such as "I earn a commission if you sign up through my link" placed prominently near your referral link is sufficient.
8.3 The following practices are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of commissions:
- Cookie stuffing or any technique that attributes referrals without user intent
- Paid search advertising that uses Stream Facility's trademarked terms as keywords (including "Stream Facility," "StreamFacility," and close variants) in a way that competes with our own paid search campaigns — contact us for clarification before running paid ads
- Spam: unsolicited email, SMS, or messaging-platform promotions
- Promoting through sites containing illegal content, adult content not clearly labelled as such, hate speech, or content that violates our Content Policy
- Creating fake reviews or testimonials
- Incentivising clicks or signups in ways that misrepresent the referral as organic (e.g., offering cash, gift cards, or other rewards to sign-up through your link without disclosing this to us first)
- Self-referral or referral of household members or business associates under your control
8.4 We reserve the right to audit referral activity. Suspicious patterns — including unusually high click-to-signup ratios, repeated IP addresses, or high refund rates from referred users — may result in investigation and, where fraud is found, termination and commission forfeiture.
9. Intellectual Property and Brand Use
9.1 Stream Facility grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our name, logo, and promotional materials solely to promote the Affiliate Program in accordance with these Affiliate Terms and any brand guidelines we provide.
9.2 You may not alter Stream Facility's name, logo, or other brand assets, or use them in any way that implies an endorsement, partnership, or official affiliation beyond the Affiliate Program.
9.3 This licence terminates immediately when your participation in the Program ends.
10. Modification of Program Terms
10.1 We may modify these Affiliate Terms, the commission rate, the commission window, or the payout threshold at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes (such as a commission rate reduction) via email or dashboard notification.
10.2 Continued participation in the Program after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may withdraw from the Program before the effective date; commissions earned before that date will be paid out under the prior terms.
11. Term and Termination
11.1 These Affiliate Terms begin when your application is approved and continue until terminated by either party.
11.2 Termination by you: You may withdraw from the Program at any time by contacting us at https://streamfacility.com/contact. Commissions already earned and above the payout threshold will be paid out within 30 business days.
11.3 Termination by us: We may suspend or terminate your affiliate account:
- For any violation of these Affiliate Terms
- For inactivity (no approved referrals within 12 consecutive months)
- If we discontinue the Affiliate Program
- At our sole discretion, with 14 days' notice (unless termination is for cause, in which case it is immediate)
11.4 Upon termination for cause, unpaid commissions are forfeited. Upon termination without cause or by you, earned commissions above the payout threshold will be paid out as described in Section 11.2.
12. Relationship of the Parties
You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Stream Facility. You have no authority to bind Stream Facility to any agreement, and nothing in these Affiliate Terms creates any employment, agency, or fiduciary relationship.
13. Limitation of Liability
Stream Facility's total liability to you under the Affiliate Program is limited to the unpaid commissions legitimately owed to you at the time of any claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the Program, including loss of anticipated earnings.
14. Governing Law
These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes will be resolved as set out in the Stream Facility Terms of Service.
